The year 1994, marked the beginning of my career in planning weddings and events as I was asked to assist a relative with her upcoming wedding. It all started out as a hobby since developed into a promising business Uniquely Yours Events, Travel and Gifts. My ultimate goal as a wedding and event planner makes the planning process fun and relaxing for you, the bride/client. My passion is planning, budgeting, coordinating and making travel arrangements for your special day so that you get to focus on the exciting parts of your wedding/event
I earned my International Event and Wedding Planning Certification from QC Event School in July of 2013 after spending the past 15 years in the Banking Industry. With the recent demands of destination weddings, I decided to add a Travel Agent Certification to the business. Now we also plan, coordinate and arrange destination weddings for your entire family. This added feature has set us aside as truly UNIQUE in our approach to handling every aspect of your special event.
I have a growing list of recommended vendors that I trust. These are people that I have a history of working with on events and have consistently provided amazing service. They also offer discounts or complimentary upgrades to you, to work within your budget.
I would like to introduce my daughter, LaPraya Curry who assist and work closely with me on the majority of Uniquely Yours Weddings and Events. She has grown up in the business and is capable of stepping in as back-up if there is ever an emergency situation where I am not able to be there.
